PLUS the graph lists "sheepdog". That's not even a breed, just a type of dog (similar to the "pit bull type" term). Belgian shepherds are often confused with German shepherds. Boxers, American bulldogs and bullmastiffs look very similar. Every breed is prone to misidentification not just pits.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520676743458940905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524655808844578153.post-40778361520455053832013-06-21T00:34:13.157-07:002013-06-21T00:34:13.157-07:00I actually like some Pits but if you want to help ...I actually like some Pits but if you want to help the breed and victims you have to face the facts.

People mistake Rottweilers and Dobermans together.
I've seen people call Pit bulls other breeds as well.
I've seen people call Pit bulls and Cane Corso's Rottweilers.

People mistake Siberian Huskies,Alaskan Malamutes,Wolf-Hybrids,Greenland dogs,Mckenzie river huskies,Samoyeds and many more spitz types with each-other.
Many kinds of mastiffs get mixed up.
Working bred German Shepherds are not separated from show ones either.
Yet these dogs don't have such high statistics. Denying it is why so many Pit bulls are euthanized each year and why breed bans happen.Demiandogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14783001289308199804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524655808844578153.post-8443937687595015012013-06-01T19:38:34.084-07:002013-06-01T19:38:34.084-07:00yeah, now how many of the "pit bulls" we...yeah, now how many of the "pit bulls" were true APBTs? i better less than 50% :) seeing as how people mistake over 20 different breeds as pitbulls, including the rottweiler, doberman, and even german shephards have been lumped in there before. People have also called boston terriers pitbull dogs. so please, show proof and sources of the breeds used in this chart. thanks :)Owner and advocate of true APBTshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07990197130252420585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7524655808844578153.post-2840894688718324752013-05-31T13:42:10.103-07:002013-05-31T13:42:10.103-07:00it sure is.it sure is.scurrilous amateur bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00575387156203723911noreply@blogger.com
