Yet another pit activist gets an education

The pain, terror and suffering inflicted by pit bull activists continues to escalate, as they ramp up their activism in denial of history and genetic science.

Inevitably, a number of these pit activists will have a rude awakening, in the form of an ugly confrontation  with reality. Sadly, it is often other innocent parties who pay the price for these costly life lessons.

Our focus today is a recent Facebook post, from the group "Our Pets Were Attacked By Pit Bulls" which we highly recommend for anyone wanting to know what's going on in our communities.

So, a pit bull activist posted video of their newly adopted pit bull "smashing stereotypes" by sitting next to a kitten without killing it. She smugly declared "This is so funny! This is exactly how it is with Maggie and Max vs my pit bull Kali (laugh emojis) Pits aren't as scary as their rep"

A few weeks later, the inevitable happened: a type of dog which was the result of centuries of careful selective breeding to enjoy bloodsport, did what it's genetic blueprint dictated, and innocent blood was shed for fun:

Having seen what pit bulls were bred to do and to be, what action does this pit activist take? Does she have the killer put down, to avoid any further horror?

No, she simply laughs off the purpose-bred cruelty of the pit bull as "some quirks", and tries to make the "quirky" pibble someone else's problem.

This is the sort of deadly imbecility we as a society are facing.

Pit bull propaganda, victim ridicule, and a horrific death

In a typical example of victim-ridicule, pit activist Mark Biancofiore wrote, in a post with pictures of his pit bull to the "I love Staffies" Facebook group:

"This is my boy Junior. absolutely vicious dog, hugs you so tight you cant breathe, smile that makes your heart melt when you see it and kisses that make it all better"

A loving owner, a happy dog. Obviously not abused or mistreated.

Fast forward to July 2019 - this lovingly raised, socialized, well-treated pit bull launched a horrific 45-minute attack on this man's wheelchair bound father, killing him.

This is the common case, as in virtually every pit bull attack, the survivors express complete shock and surprise.

Bottom line: If this man had chosen literally any other breed, his father would be alive today.

About 6 years ago i got my babygirl a baby puppy for christmas... a little itty bitty white puppy... who she named Puppy💗 who was her best friend her baby her everything....

& last night he got attacked by a pitbull 😞 so they rushed him to emergency .... & there was nothing they could do for him..  he was hurt internally too bad for them to do anything 😞 so they had to euthanize him ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ my poor babygirl 💔💔

Does the media demonize pit bulls?

It seems that every pit bull attack reported in the media provokes an immediate reaction from the pit bull activists, who recite the usual litany of talking points:

• The press is singling out pit bulls
• They never report on attacks by other breeds
• Nobody knows if it was really a pit bull

However, a closer examination reveals absolutely no evidence for the idea that the press is carrying out a sinister plot to convince the public that pit bulls are dangerous. If anything, the press reports seem to soft pedal any negative reporting about pit bulls, and often engage in active damage control propaganda efforts on behalf of the problematic breed. 

Most pit bull attacks are headlined as simply "dog attacks", and you'd need to read the fine print to find out that it was actually a pit bull attack.

In a similar vein, whenever a pit bull commits a horrific, unprovoked, and fatal attack on a terrified, harmless little dog, the 'journalist' invariably refers to it as "a dog fight"

The standard script for pit bull reporting nearly always includes a closing word from a pit bull activist to remind us that "all dogs bite", and that pit bulls really do make swell pets, "if they are raised correctly".

So no, the media doesn't demonize pit bulls at all. If anything, they seem to run cover for them, to try to soften their image.

Consider the recent nationwide headline this past week: "woman killed by dachshunds" with the articles each featuring the obligatory stock photo of a dachshund. Here is a teachable moment. Let me drop some facts on you:

• The killer dogs were not dachshunds. Full stop.
• According to the vet, the dogs included a pit bull, and 4 pit mixes.
• The 'dachshunds' lie was started by a shelter worker

We all bear the costs of pit bull advocacy

We came across this article and found the subtitle worthy of note:

"THE ATTACK HOSPITALIZED EMILY RUCKLE FOR 32 DAYS, LED TO 12 SURGERIES OVER TWO YEARS AND CAUSED $3 MILLION IN MEDICAL BILLS."

We've all been bombarded with the smarmy, well known pit bull propaganda talking points, which use faulty logic, non-sequiturs and emotionally charged civil rights terminology in an attempt to make us all feel guilty for not wanting to expose our children or our pets to unpredictable canine IEDs.

To the average man, who doesn't know anything about the bloody and violent genesis and history of the bull-baiting and pit fighting breeds, this may all sound plausible, and invoke some sort of sympathy, but what the narcissistic pit bull activists don't tell us is that we all, as a society, pay the price for their delusion.

This poor girl, one of many innocents whose lives have been touched by pit bull violence, is a solid argument for the need for change in our laws. It's time to start holding the perpetrators strictly accountable.

Do we blame pit bulls for being and doing precisely what they were designed and bred for centuries to be and to do? That's irrelevant. The blame must be placed on those who lie about the facts, who attempt to obfuscate, shift the blame and hide the danger, and traffic pit bulls into unsuspecting neighborhoods.

If we were placed in charge, this would be the policy: In the event of a pit bull attack, the pit bull is to be put down, immediately. If a citizen at the scene of the crime is able to disable or kill the pit bull to save the victim, that citizen shall be held blameless. The pit bull owner or responsible party shall be charged with the attack, and punished accordingly - not token fines, but jail time and/or serious financial penalties.

It breaks our heart to see this sort of thing, but the sad fact of the matter is that pit bulls and their owners are literally getting away with murder on a daily basis. This is a glimpse at just one tragedy among hundreds every day inflicted by purpose bred torturers which are being hyped as family pets.

"Last Friday the 24th, I went out into my garage to find a pit and another dog circling my car. I shooed them away with a push broom and watched their retreat. Several houses down, the pit bull reached down a lifted up the body of a lifeless cat. With no regard for my safety, I ran toward the pit and took the cat away from him. It was my little buddy Sly."

"7 years of companionship and love gone in the instant it took this mindless killer to grab and break his neck. I've enclosed 2 photos. 1 showing how much Sly was loved, the 2nd showing what can happen to our lives when 4 legged killing machines wander from neighborhood to neighborhood. pit bull myths - loyalty

As pit bull fans like to say, pit bulls are special - much more special than any other dogs. (but at other times they claim that pit bulls are exactly the same as any other dogs, leaving one wondering exactly what they really think). When pressed to come up with some particular way in which pit bulls are special, it often boils down to amazement that pit bulls can act like normal dogs. In other words, the things that make pit bulls special are those particular scenarios in which they act like normal dogs - as opposed to killing the cat, scalping the baby, or de-gloving grandma's hand.

I'm truly puzzled when pit bull fans claim that "pit bulls are the most loyal dogs of all", or that "no breed is more loving with its family" - in view of the bloody record of pit bulls attacking their own family members, one has to question their particular definition of loyalty.

Indeed, pit bulls do enjoy a distinction of sorts, in areas related to loyalty - i.e. suddenly, with zero warning, and apparently at random, attacking, mauling, and (if help is not nearby) killing their owners. After several of the mauling deaths over the past year, investigatiors happened to discover that the deceased had previously been treated for wounds inflicted by their own pit bulls . But the victims kept it quiet and didn't report it, ostensibly to avoid leaking any type of pit bull news that was not positive. The lengths to which some people will go "for the pitties" is remarkable, to put it mildly.

On the other hand, if reports are to be believed, the pit bull belonging to Bad Rap activist Darla Napora had never shown any sign of aggression previous to the day it suddenly attacked her. Raised from a puppy with love and care, an indoor pet that slept in bed with her, it turned on her one day with zero warning and mauled her to death. So severe was the attack that Ms. Napora was unable to even dial 911 - a story which we have covered here previously.

Killing the owner is an act completely alien to a normal dog. But in the US, there has been a case of a pit bull killing its owner every few weeks during the past year or so. What's going on? Is it that pit bulls are so big and powerful that a playful bite is deadly? Well, that doesn't seem to add up, because there are for instance livestock guardian breeds which are much larger and much stronger than pit bulls, with higher bite force. But they never kill their human pack, and the flocks under their care are also completely safe - which could be reasonably ascribed to the difference between a type of dog bred to guard and protect livestock, and a type of dog bred to torture livestock.

No, the problem with pit bulls is not their strength, as we have noted above. They are certainly not the biggest or strongest of all dogs, and they do not have the most powerful jaws. What they do have is a set of genetically determined motor patterns owing to selective breeding over hundreds of years of violent blood sport for those specific qualities which suit them to the business of killing, which amount to a craving for combat. A well-bred, game pit bull will attack the opponent without warning and without mercy, and will continue the attack, ignoring submission signals from the victim, and ignoring pain, regardless of injury suffered. it doesn't matter if the victim submits, tries to run away, or fights back - the pit bull continues the attack to its conclusion, one way or the other. For the pit bull, the act of exercising its characteristic motor patterns is self rewarding.

This purposeful breeding program has naturally created a number of neurological differences between the pit bull and normal dogs. These differences, not nurture or environment, are the chief factor in the off-the-charts record of serious injuries and deaths to humans from pit bulls as compared to all other types of dogs. A normal dog may bite, but a pit bull doesn't just "bite" - a pit bull engages in a sustained attack which can easily last 20 minutes or more, if help does not come.

Arkansas nightmare: pits kill owner

News coverage of deadly attack

In what has become an almost routine event of late, another pit bull owner was brutally mauled to death by her pit bulls. 45-year-old Deborah Renee Wilson, of Jefferson County, Arkansas, was found by her husband when he returned from a visit with a neighbor to find "a gruesome scene" - the pit bulls tearing his wife apart as she lay bleeding profusely. Calling 911, he immediately attempted to help her, but the pit bulls turned on him and he was unable to render aid.

When animal control officers arrived, they managed to capture one of the pit bulls, while the other, dangerously out of control, was killed. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A curious fact came to light during the ensuing investigation - the woman had been attacked in the past by those same pit bulls, requiring a trip to the emergency room for treatment.
